Many of our Connecticut clients arrive having already tried the standard approaches — and found that managing the symptoms isn’t the same as understanding what’s generating them.
The work here starts where those approaches stop.
Our Clients
We work with people who are, by most observable measures, doing well.
Professionally capable, often successful, and navigating something internally that hasn’t been addressed — not because they haven’t tried, but because what they’ve tried hasn’t gone far enough.
We provide telehealth psychotherapy throughout Connecticut, working with professionals in that situation — people who are performing well, managing effectively, and carrying something internal that hasn’t been addressed because there hasn’t been space, permission, or the right kind of help available.
Our Specialties
We work with the full range of what that looks like:
• High-performer burnout and identity
• Career transitions for finance, law, healthcare, and other professionals
• Relationship dynamics and attachment
• Identity and life transitions
• Anxiety and self-esteem in high-achieving contexts
Our Approach
Our framework is psychodynamically and emotionally focused — going underneath the presenting problem to the narratives, identity structures, and relational patterns that are generating it because that’s where lasting change actually happens.
Our clinician — Biyang Wang, LCSW — completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Princeton University. She completed both her Master’s in Social Work and her advanced psychodynamic post-graduate fellowship at the University of Chicago.
This shaped a particular clinical orientation: serious, depth-focused, and committed to understanding what’s actually driving the experience rather than managing its surface presentation.
